What Are We?
The last year and a half of the COVID-19 pandemic has sparked an unprecedented period of change within our community. Dedicated To attempts to address that change by inviting members of the community to submit creative works that they felt were significant to their unique journey during this time. We hope that by giving Woodford-Countians both a physical and digital space in which they can express themselves and encourage others to do the same, that we are able to cultivate a space of reflection, celebration, and hope for the future.
Our goal is to preserve the emotional state of a community divided physically by COVID-19, and to inspire compassion and connection among community members as we begin to move beyond this period in our history.

Dedicated To was officially founded in early 2021, when it first felt as though COVID-19 was becoming a thing of the past. The project began as a podcast with the intention of finding and sharing the unique and inspiring stories of Woodford Countians who had been affected by COVID-19. However, as the project evolved, and the scope of our abilities as students became more clear, we decided that the most dynamic way to share these stories was to create a collection of community art. Our thinking was that by removing ourselves from the dialogue, we are creating a more personal and intimate community conversation that celebrates retrospection through creativity.
