Submission Guidelines
You can submit:

Poetry, Prose, Essay, Lyrics, Statements, Personal accounts, Obituaries, Articles, Recipes, other personally significant writings

Songs, Performances, Lyrics, Scores, Short Films, Dance

Other personally significant creative media

You may submit up to three works and they can be of any media type (each work does not have to be of the same type, or connect to each other. If you have separate dedications for each work, please indicate which dedication is for which work in the form)

For all media types:

Media must be made (or performed) by YOU. Dedicated To is interested in your creative process, and as such, will only accept creations and performances of your work!
*You may perform a work that is not yours, but the learning/performing of it must be in some way significant to your pandemic experience.

Media must be made during, or in response to events that occurred pandemic. We can accept submissions that compare work from before, during, or after the pandemic, however, we reserve the right to deny work created before March 2020.

We also ask, in accordance with our title and mission, that you provide a dedication. This can be as short or long as you please, may include dedications to anyone or anything you feel deserves it. An explanation is not required, but encouraged. Think of this as your opportunity to justify your art or connect your work to the community.

We will not accept work that defames any person or group of people, or that spreads a hateful message to its viewers. Dedicated To is meant to bring Woodford county together, not divide us.

We cannot guarantee that your work will be included in the gallery, as we have a limited space, and therefore a limited amount of work can be included. However, if your work follows all guidelines for submission, we can guarantee it will be shared on one of our digital platforms, and will be considered for exhibition in the gallery if you indicate that you wish it to be.

If your work has a tangible iteration (a 3-Dimensional work) or , please indicate on the form that you can guarantee to us that you will be able to provide the media, either by submitting us your artwork, or confirming your ability to perform at the specified date(s) of the exhibition.

Feel free to explore any relevant topics within your personal realm of COVID. Loss, personal growth, inequities, social justice, fear, joy, hopes and sorrows, or any other idea you wish to express can be submitted.
